Got Ribs?

My Dad, Eddie Beckham, was born in Georgia and man, did he know how to cook. My Mom, Virginia, was from Alabama, and together they lived the heart & soul of Southern cuisine. Dad figured that Cleveland was just the place to awaken taste buds with his rich, slow-simmered flavors. After years of perfecting those famous recipes, he opened B & M Bar-B-Que with his buddy, James Mitchell (that's the M) back in 1958.

The first Cleveland restaurant was on 79th and Hough Avenue. That's where Dad taught me everything about the art of serving "Best In Town" bar-b-que-and soon I began to develop my own recipe for lip-smackin' sauce.

Years later, and with all Dad's teachings to back me up, I took over the B&M on Shaw Avenue. My wife Sonia kept saying that one store just wasn't enough. The food was too good not to share. Today, you can enjoy the same scratch-made recipes at any of our delicious locations: Lee Road and 130th & Bellaire in Cleveland, plus tempting spots in Akron and Maple Heights.
